I’m a physiotherapist who loves all things outdoors and exercise. You’ll regularly find me camping, watching a sunset or running along the coast. Keeping active helps me manage my mental health and pain and empowers me.

I was lucky to find a supportive GP, and have a supportive mum who helped me push to look into an endometriosis diagnosis, and validated what I was experiencing wasn’t just something I had to deal with. It can be difficult sometimes, but in your own journey I’d encourage you to advocate for yourself if you know in your body something isn’t right. Since my diagnosis, between becoming involved with Matilda, and in my own learning journey as a physio I have definitely come to understand the power of mindfulness and meditation in managing my pain and my body and would recommend that you don’t discount it as a useful strategy.
