Matilda Health Scholarship Fund

At Matilda Health, we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality pre- and post-surgery care for endometriosis—regardless of their financial circumstances. We know that endometriosis and chronic health conditions often disproportionately impact those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, creating additional barriers to care. That’s why, for every 10 program purchases, we provide a scholarship to someone who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

We also invite businesses, organisations, and individuals to contribute to the Matilda Health Scholarship Fund, helping expand access to care for those in need. People that sign up can also support their peers by adding a donation at checkout.

While we need to function as a business, our vision is rooted in making care accessible. If you truly can’t afford the program, we welcome you to join Matilda Health for free through our scholarship initiative. For those who can contribute, your payment not only empowers your own recovery but also helps others access the care they need. And with our full refund guarantee, there’s no risk—if you don't find the program valuable, we’ll provide a full refund, no questions asked.

Whatever your financial situation, Matilda Health is here to support you on your journey to better health and recovery. Together, we can make care accessible to everyone who needs it.

Warm regards,
Jo and Kevin

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the scholarship program work?

At Matilda Health, for every 10 program purchases, we donate a scholarship to someone in financial need. These scholarships provide full access to our surgery optimisation program, ensuring no one misses out on the care they deserve. Additionally, we invite individuals and organisations to contribute to our Scholarship Fund, enabling even more people to benefit. Plus, people buying the program have the option to add $10 to their order to donate to the Scholarship Fund and support their peers.

How do you decide who gets a scholarship?

We prioritise scholarships for individuals who demonstrate financial need and would benefit most from our program. Applicants are asked to complete a short form sharing details about their financial circumstances and how the program could support their surgery preparation or recovery.

We review applications based on:
- Financial need (e.g., low income or financial hardship)
- Health impact (e.g., those with upcoming surgeries or significant challenges)
- Access barriers (e.g., individuals from underserved or rural areas)

We strive to make the process fair and transparent, using a first-come, first-served system while accommodating urgent cases.
If we receive more applications than scholarships available, we maintain a waitlist. Our goal is to ensure scholarships go to those who need them most, helping to make endometriosis care accessible to all. We're still testing how this goes (but passionate about accessible healthcare), so we welcome your feedback on the process.

How can I contribute?

You can make a difference by adding a donation at checkout or visiting our donation page to contribute directly to the Scholarship Fund. Your support helps us provide more scholarships, making optimal pre- and post-surgery care accessible for those facing financial hardship. Every donation, big or small, creates a positive impact.

What if I want to donate as an organisation?

We love partnering with proactive businesses and organisations! By donating seats to our Scholarship Fund, you can help improve the lives of individuals facing financial barriers. Please visit the donation page or contact us to discuss donation options, custom packages, or partnership opportunities tailored to your organisation's goals. Together, we can make a real difference to people with confirmed or suspected endometriosis.

Is my donation tax deductible?

At this stage, donations to the Matilda Health Scholarship Fund are not tax-deductible, as Matilda Health is a for-profit organisation and is not registered as a charity or endorsed to receive tax-deductible gifts.
However, we are currently exploring options to register as a charity or partner with existing charities or Not-for-profits like Endometriosis WA, which may allow future donations to be tax-deductible. Watch this space for updates as we work towards making this possible!
